What is Re-Bath?

Re-Bath® products are designed to fit over existing bathtubs, shower bases and walls without disruption to the walls, floors or plumbing. Many people have never heard of Re-Bath, much less know that we are the leader in the bathtub liner industry as the oldest and largest bathtub liner company in the country with the largest dealership network, the finest products and the largest manufacturing capacity, and the only manufacturer's lifetime warranty in the industry. In fact, the man that invented the acrylic bathtub liner is the same man that started Re-Bath.

Notice the old, stained tub and tile walls compared to the lustrous shine of the new acrylic, custom molded liner and wall system. People who are not familiar with our product are usually surprised to find out how thick our material is. Re-Bath products are manufactured from lustrous, high-impact acrylic/ABS. This material will not dent, crack, peel, or rust. The beautiful acrylic shine will last indefinitely without fading or yellowing. And the best part ... it is so easy to keep clean!

1) Re-Bath® Bathtubs are custom manufactured to fit over your old ugly bathtub. With an inventory of over 750 cataloged bathtubs, Re-Bath can fit virtually any size pressed-steel or cast iron bathtub. "But how do you know that you have mine?" We will pay a visit to your bathtub and take twelve measurements and three photographs. Our factory computer matches those measurements and photographs with our inventory so that we can create a liner with the exact fit of your bathtub. If fact, Re-Bath is still the only liner company in the country that uses only original bathtubs as the molds for our liners.

There is a slight chance that we might not have your particular bathtub. But odds are that we do. Since 1979 Re-Bath has been removing bathtubs from homes and tooling them to become bathtub liner molds. If we don't have yours, we'll offer to remove it at no cost to you, ship it to our factory in Mesa, Arizona where it will join the country's largest collection of bathtubs.

Re-Bath Bathtub Liners are professionally installed in half a day by our factory trained employees and are ready for use ten hours after installation. Re-Bath's patented installation technology guarantees a perfect watertight fit without disturbing your walls, floors, or plumbing.

2) Re-Bath® Shower Base Liners work very much in the same way that our bathtub liners work. One of our bathroom consultants will measure your shower and determine which type of shower base liner needs to be used. And just like on our bathtubs, if we don't have your particular shower base, we will offer to remove it from your home at no cost to you. If your shower is made from tile, no worries - we have you covered as well!

3) Re-Bath® Wall Surround Systems are custom manufactured to cover existing bathtub and shower walls. Once we install the new acrylic wall system over your existing tile - no more out-of-date tile walls or difficult-to-clean grout.

"What if I hate cleaning the grout but don't want to give up the look of tile?" Excellent question: Re-Bath has nine different wall colors available, and each one can be installed as smooth panels or in six different tile patterns. Anther common question: "Do I have to install the wall system so that it touches the ceiling?" Absolutely not. Though most of our client do prefer this method of installation primarily because it drastically reduces the maintenance of the bathroom, we can install your wall system to any height you choose. And because Re-Bath has the only locally available turned edges at the top and on the sides, you won't need any trim pieces.

4) And last, but by no means least, our tub to shower conversions. When we first offered this several years ago, I thought "There is no way that anyone is going to pay us to remove their bathtub and make it a big shower." Boy was I wrong! We find that this option is becoming more and more popular with each passing day. So few people take baths - most of us jump into the shower, wash ourselves, and rush off to conquer the day! Others of us need showers instead of bathtubs for accessibility or convenience. Whatever your reason for wanting to ditch that old bathtub and enjoy the comforts of a spacious shower, you'll be glad you chose Re-Bath.

We have several shower options from which to choose. The picture shown below is one of our more popular models since it has a seat built right into the base. Other clients prefer to have just the shower base - no need to waste space on a seat. We have many clients that require the base to be "barrier free" or without a threshold for wheelchair access.
