Cleaning Instructions

Re-Bath® products are typically ready to use approximately ten hours after installation. In order to allow Re-Bath's proprietary adhesives and sealants to cure properly, please follow these recommendations after the installation of your Re-Bath products:
1. Do not touch, wipe, or clean the silicone sealant joints for five days following installation.
2. Do not spray hot water directly on Re-Bath wall panels with a hand held shower a close range for two weeks following installation.
3. Do not stand on the rail or shelf of the bathtub liner for two weeks after installation.

General Cleaning Instructions

Normal cleaning is easy by following these instructions:

• A mixture of warm water, mild liquid detergent or nonabrasive cleaner, and a soft sponge is adequate for most cleaning
• Dust and dirt may be removed with a soft damp cloth.
• Grease, oil, paint, or ink stains may be removed with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol.
• Use only approved cleaners on your Re-Bath products.
• The use of unapproved products may damage your Re-Bath system and void your warranty. Re-Bath is not responsible for damage caused by chemical reaction.
• If you have questions regarding your product care, contact your local authorized Re-Bath dealer or call our corporate customer service office at 1 800 426 4573.
• If you would like a cleaner tested that is not on the cleaning list, please send a 4 ounce sample of the cleaner in its original container to Re-Bath LLC, 1055 South Country Club Drive, Mesa AZ 85210. Please allow two weeks for testing.

Cleaning BathGard, the slip resistant bottom:

Scrub firmly with a soft nylon brush using any of the approved cleaners. Use full strength Palmolive dish detergent on stubborn stains. Do not use Scotch-Brite pads or any other type of abrasive products.

Light Scratches or Abrasions:

Light scratches or abrasions can be removed and the original gloss fully restored using the following products:

• Novus Plastic Polish
• Mirror Glaze Professional Formula #17
• J-Wax or Kit Automotive Cleaner/Waxes
• DuPont or Turtlewax "White Polish"

Warning!

Do no expose your Re-Bath bathtub to harsh chemicals such as acetone (nail polish remover), nail polish, dry cleaning solution, paint removers and thinners, drain and bowl cleaners, gasoline, and pine oil. Do not use spray-and-leave products, hair dyes, lime removers, or any chemicals or cleaners not approved by Re-Bath. Strong detergents formulated for use on tile or porcelain enamel surfaces should be avoided. The use of such products may cause discoloration, dulling of the high gloss finish, and/or crazing or cracking of the acrylic surface. Your Re-Bath products are designed to provide years of enjoyment. They are extremely durable but can be damaged if abused, mistreated, or exposed to unapproved cleaners. To avoid this, please follow these care and maintenance instructions carefully. Use of unapproved products will void your warranty

Drain Cleaning:

The use of harsh drain cleaners is not recommended. The preferred method for cleaning is to remove the drain and use a plumber's snake. If chemical drain cleaners must be used, use a funnel and proceed cautiously. If the drain cleaner comes in contact with the liner, it may cause permanent discoloration and/or damage to the acrylic surface.

Overall:

Re-Bath products are manufactured from the finest, high-gloss, impact-resistant acrylic. The durable, non-porous surface is designed to provide years of use and enjoyment with reasonable care and maintenance. With normal use, Re-Bath products will retain their beautiful finish with only minimal care. By cleaning your Re-Bath products regularly with approved cleaning agents, you can help retain the original high gloss finish.
